Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Card is SC’s top card of time. It is placed above SC Manhattan Credit Card. But as mentioned earlier the rewards and offers provided by SC is not so attractive. Hence, here we are required to see that the myth is true or not.

There is no fee charged for this card from its launch back in 2016 till this year 2021. Which shows that this is a life time free sort of credit card which we can say is one of the best reason for you to have this card.

As you see there is nothing good offered. The rewards offered won’t allow to keep it any where near Premium cards. Premium cards offer much amazing and exciting reward whereas this card has poor rewarding system.

Now the question arises that should you take this card or not. So, answer is that you should keep it if till it is free means there is no joining fee. Otherwise, there is no worth keeping it if you have to pay annual charges.

They do not even run festival offers which is another drawback of using a Standard Chartered credit card. So if it is free than you can keep it. Otherwise there is no profit in keeping it.

The minimum amount due every month shall be higher than the following:

(a) 5% of statement outstanding or

(b) Sum total of all installments billed, interest, fees, other charges, amount that is over limit and 1% of the principal or

(c) INR 250

How long does it take to apply for a credit card?

Subject to documents being complete and accurate, it should take approximately 9 days to get your credit card approved.

What is the tax applicable ?

Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be levied at the applicable rates in force on all taxable supplies with effect from 1 July 2017.

Will I be charged anything extra if I use my card overseas?

All overseas transactions are levied with a 3.5% transaction fee.
