HDFC Forexplus Card Cross Currency Charges
In case if you want to do transaction in a currency different then what is available in the card. The bank will charge cross currency markup of 2% on such transaction.
For cross currency transactions involving wallet to wallet transfers within currencies available on Multicurrency ForexPlus card customer will be charged with 2% cross currency charges.

No doubt it is an amazing card providing lots of features. But keep in mind this is a debit card and not a credit card. Hence some times it becomes expensive to use.

Can I issue Cheque to load the Multicurrency card?
Yes, you can load your Multicurrency card by issuing of cheque against the amount to be loaded. However, the card will be loaded post realisation of the cheque deposited by you. On realization of the funds, the day’s prevailing sale exchange rate will be applicable for loading the card.
Whom should I contact if my Card is lost or stolen?
In case your card gets lost or stolen, all you have to do is call HDFC Bank Phone Banking immediately and report the loss of your card to get it blocked. You can also login in to Prepaid Net Banking and hotlist your card which happens instantly.
What does DCC/ MCC stand for?
DCC stands for Dynamic Currency Conversion whereas MCC stands for Multiple Currency Conversion. DCC / MCC at ATM / POS gives the cardholder an option to initiate a transaction in the currency of his choice. It also assists the cardholder to know the exact transaction value in the currency selected at the time of transaction.
