About Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is a 3D sci-fi video-game by the studio behind the Halo series. It is a direct sequel to the original, console-only Destiny and takes place one year after the events of the Rise of Iron expansion.
It includes the same 3 Guardian Classes: Warlock, Hunter, Titan but adds new super abilities to each. Set one year after the events of the final Destiny expansion, the sequel expands on the original in many ways.
The open beta will be available to all, but those who pre-order will get access sooner. The game went free to play on September 17, 2019, but expansions continue to cost money.
