HDFC has launched another beginner level credit card which is named Bharat Cashback Credit Card. This card is developed by HDFC to give competition to Standard Chartered Credit cards. Another reason to make this is to give decent cashback to its low income level customers.

This card is placed below its Moneyback credit card.

  • Joining Fees: Rs.500+GST

* No fee waiver as it is a life time free credit card.

Eligibility

  • Salaried: Age must be between 21-60 years
    • Monthly income should be greater than Rs.12000
  • Self-employed: Age must be between 21-65 years
    • ITR is required to be more than Rs.2,00,000

HDFC Bharat Card Rewards

This card provides 5% cashback on most of the transaction. The categories giving 5% cashback are:

  • IRCTC
  • Fuel
  • Groceries
  • Bill Payment
  • And on making spends through PayZapp/EasyEMI/SmartBUY

Maximum Cashback is Rs.150 per cycle, which means you will get only Rs.150 as cashback per month. This is quite low!

Also on spending Rs.72,000 in a year will give you a cashback of Rs3600. Also 1RP = Rs.1.
